A woman has escaped a prison sentence for having a brain tumour.
34 year old, Lucy Barham was driving on the wrong side of the road when she hit Chris Fuller.
Fuller died instantly after Barham went into his front seat, he was 21 years old.
Barham admitted to causing death by careless driving and was suspended for 18 months.
She said she remembered nothing from the crash, she failed to give the DVLA her medical condition 3 times.
The prosecutor said, “this defendant ought not to have been driving. There is a duty to inform the DVLA of any medical condition that might affect their ability to drive.”
Fuller was an organ donor but his family were not able to carry out his wishes due to what was “left of him”.
