A man accused of ‘sexual assault and permanent impairment’ of a one-year-old girl is to stand trial in May.
Alan Kusz appeared at the High Court in Glasgow today to face the charges.
43 year-old allegedly attacked the child at a house in Kilwinning, North Ayrshire.
Following the attack the girl was left with a severe injury and permanent impairment.
Kusz pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Lord Mulholland set a trial due to begin in May.
