SEX BEAST pretended to be a POLICE OFFICER to RAPE and EXTORT victim

A man who lured a women to his home before robbing and raping her has been jailed.

Randeep Tamne tricked the 27 year old victim into meeting him in after creating a fake online profile.

After chatting to his 27-year-old victim online, he convinced her to travel to his home in Coventry in July last year.

The woman first thought she was at the wrong address as Tamne did not “resemble” the man she had been speaking to online, reports the Coventry Telegraph.

After the victim apologised and left, she was then contacted again by Tamne, 43, who said he was a police officer. He told her she had “committed offences” and threatened to arrest her if she didn’t return to his home.

Upon returning Tamne claimed she needed to pay a fine. She took money from the bank to pay him but was then told this wasn’t enough.

Tamne then suggested sex as a payment.

The woman said she didn’t want to have sex but was directed upstairs and raped.

Tamne then made her drive to a cashpoint and withdraw more money. Tamne made her agree that further payments would be made to prevent her arrest.

The victim was then allowed to leave but returned to Tamne’s address with another payment.

Tamne was only found out when the following day, the victim told her mother about the attack and they reported the crime to the police.

During initial police interviews; Tamne denied impersonating a police officer, raping the woman and taking money from her.

However last month Tamne pleaded guilty at Warwick Crown Court and was sentenced to eight years and one month behind bars, and will be forced to sign the sex offenders’ register for life.
